Were You Wondering How We Took This Photo? A Behind The Scenes Look Into Our Columbia Outpost Lodge Styled Wedding — Photographers, Golden B.C.

As a photographer in Golden BC, a styled wedding is a dreamy opportunity …

As per usual after a glorious photo shoot, I am still dreaming of running through the fields of the Columbia Outpost Lodge wedding venue and capturing my friends laughing in the sunset light.

In case you missed it, a few of your favourite local wedding vendors got together and organized a rustic and eco-friendly styled wedding at the Columbia Outpost Lodge. Their old red barn has been restored and styled with vintage chandeliers to create a beautiful wedding venue. We couldn’t have been more pleased with how the day came together.

Our lovely videographer Elora created a beautiful video of our entire shoot (which can be viewed here). She also took the time to put together individual behind the scenes videos for each vendor, which I am thrilled to share with you. Elora did an amazing job capturing the lighthearted feel of our Columbia Outpost Lodge styled wedding as well as the process of photographing it.

I am always looking at other photos and trying to figure out how it was created. Some of you might have been wondering the same thing about this photo:

Are you wondering how we managed to take this photograph without getting wet?

We didn’t have to swim, nor get our camera and film gear wet to take this photograph. It’s my pleasure to share this wonderful behind-the-scenes video with you to share an insight into the process of taking photos.

Thanks again to my good friend Elora for making this for me xx
