THE SVENDSEN FAMILY
Winter family portrait time is here in the Golden BC Rocky Mountains. Indeed, our little town is equally as beautiful in the Winter months as it is the rest of the year. For example, the frozen Rocky Mountains make a gorgeous background for portraits. Winter is perfect for both Candid Family Portraits and Your Baby’s First Year photography bundles. They are for those who love to bundle up and snuggle their loved ones to stay warm. More importantly, everyone looks so cozy all bundled up in their winter layers.
WINTER FAMILY PORTRAITS
For this family’s winter family portraits, we decided to walk into the forest just outside of their home to enjoy some hot chocolate and family time. A casual activity like this is the perfect way to create candid and authentic family portraits. In addition, hot chocolate and blankets are a great addition to your winter family portraits. Not only do they add personality to your portraits, but they give you something to do. In fact, having a prop or something to do can really take the pressure off of being in front of the camera. Sometimes, this helps if you are a bit nervous about your family portraits. My job as your Photographer is to make your family portraits feel easy and comfortable. In addition, I try my best to keep you moving and warm as much as possible.
