Life with kids is a full-on rollercoaster of fun, love, cheerios and chaos.
That's pretty much how our photo session will go, too (this is a good thing).
I can assume that you have hundreds and hundreds of photos of your family on your phone and that only a small percentage of them are of your kids sitting still with a nice smile.
The rest are of your life exactly as it is: snuggles that you know won't last forever, fun adventures outside, your kids being silly together, or a rare moment of quiet play.
In my honest opinion, those real life moments are what make for the very best family photographs and that's what I document for people.
The secret to great, candid family photography is to let the kids be themselves, give parents permission to go with the flow, and trust me to capture the beauty of it all.

(almost all of my clients try to convince me of these nonsense things)
- you are awkward in front of the camera (everyone is at first, but I got you)
- nobody is able to get a good photo of you (it's not you, it's them)
- your kids won't sit still (They don't need to)
- It's impossible to get their real smile (we will get it)

Every single family that I work with wants the same thing: family photos that are not a stiff, stressful experience.
I see it with every family that I photograph: they know that this time in their life is precious and that they want to document it, but are not sure how to find an experience that is easy and delivers photos that feel authentic to them.

we lost my dad very suddenly in 2015 and the photos we have together are my most prized possessions.

What if I live outside of your normal travel area?
How long do I have to enter the giveaway?
Please still apply! If you win, there may be a small travel fee required. Usually I waive that though if there are multiple bookings in the same area (maybe your friends want nice photos too??)
This $5k giveaway will be open from Monday November 13th until Sunday November 19th.
The winner will be selected and announced Monday, November 20th.
How do I enter?

Enter your name and email below and then a slightly longer form will be sent to you. The longer form is required to complete your entry, but that's it.
