For their family photography session in Invermere, we met on a stormy summer morning at the cliffs overlooking the Columbia valley.

It was chilly but we were all too busy admiring the view to notice. doing aN Invermere family photography session is a dream. THe mountains go on for miles down the valley and the lake always seems to bring some sort of interesting weather.

I say this all of the time, but how lucky are we to be here? I am spoiled to be able to do family photography sessions here.

A wide open field, a beautiful mountain view, and a loving family is the perfect recipe for beautiful family photography. We played games with their little guy, laughed at the dogs, and connected over a shared love for the mountains.

Toddlers always bring a hint of chaos and I love it. they are little beings with lots of energy and emotions and I wouldn't have it any other way. Keeping them engaged with games and hugs pulls out the best, genuine emotions in everyone. Family Photography sessions like these are some of my favourite.

this family photography session was so much fun and they invited me back to be their wedding photographer later this summer. When my clients return for more photos, it's truly the highest compliment and I can't wait to work with them again.
