In Home Family Photography | Golden BC Photographer

Most families choose an in home family photography session during the winter months. It's a special idea to incorporate your home into your family photos. Your home changes along with your family over the years. When you look back on these portraits years from now, you will see your little baby and all of their little toys and blankets in the background. An in home family photo session is a great way to create truly nostalgic and authentic portraits.

In Home Family Photography Sessions

The Del Fatti family are very special to me. Years ago, one of my best friends and my new room mate started dating. He seamlessly fit right into our friend group and is still crashing our girls nights to this day. Flash forward seven years to spring 2020 and they find out that a little baby would join their family.

To watch two dear friends start a family and raise their baby has been special. I am so lucky that they let me photograph each milestone along the way. When their son Bruno was three-months-old, we opted for an in home family photography session. During the colder months, they spend the most time together in their living room. So that's what we did for these in home family photos.

When I photograph a Baby Plan with a family, I encourage them to do at least one of their photo sessions indoors. With the baby plan, we do several photo sessions throughout your baby's first year. This means that there is plenty of time for both indoor and outdoor photo sessions. in home family photography sessions are a beautiful way to document your family and the home around you.
