A riverside Wedding
Somewhere in Golden, BC
Celebrating love among the mountains where we ski and bike every day is special. And it is special to photograph a wedding for two friends, who finally made it to this day. They shared vows that summed up years already spent together, and explained excitement for years of adventures yet to come. They kissed, we threw confetti, and everyone drank champagne.
Their Golden BC riverside wedding ceremony was celebrated by all the friends, family, mountain peaks, and unsanctioned adventure trails, up and down the Blaeberry Valley.
A Riverfront Reception

You should add a vintage getaway car to your list of wedding experiences. The groom drove his late father’s Lotus Esprit through the Blaeberry, the streets of Golden BC, to their wedding reception. Everyone was waiting at The Riverfront Campground to welcome the newlyweds.
The rest of the evening was spent welcoming more friends as they arrived and laughing at the speeches. The uncles were busy tending to the pig spit roast. The gals were putting the barn floor to good use with their best line dance moves. From a riverside wedding to a riverfront reception, what a day and pleasure to photograph.
The Vendors + The Vibe
“It’s really important to us to spend most of the day with the people who came out for us, so we want to spend as much time as possible with them, and we don’t want to spend hours getting photos of the two of us. That we actually look like we’re having a nice time, formal-ish but not awkward family photo.”
We built lots of time into their day for candid moments and space to be with their guests. They balanced a casual Golden BC riverside wedding with elevated touches, making their day super personal and special.
