The brief I was given before this small Kananaskis wedding was that they wanted to enjoy being in nature with their family, have photos to share with their loved ones, and that there would be lots of kids and dogs present. Oh, and that they absolutely love 35mm film photography. Sounds like my kind of party, honestly.

We walked down a sunny, dirt path along Wedge Pond that afternoon to find a spot for their wedding ceremony. I had black and white film loaded in the camera, the perfect media for a bright summer day. From there, we let the love in the air and the mountain views speak for themselves, creating candid, documentary-style wedding photos.
