A Summer evening in Banff National Park
These Banff family photos at Castle Mountain had an easy-going feeling. We met on a warm summer evening; they told me what it’s like to become parents, that they were so in love but hadn’t slept in weeks. I watched and admired how good at parenting they already seemed. The sleep deprivation does seem hard, but the baby giggles must surely make it worth it?
We admired Castle Mountain, it is impressive. How did we get so lucky to live here? And I was lucky enough to make new friends that day. I see them occasionally for walks through Banff, and tell me everything all at once because life is busy conversations. I even had the pleasure of attending their baby’s first birthday party and taking more family photos with them at the Banff Fairmont Springs.
Banff Family Photos At Castle Mountain
As with all family photography sessions, we started with casual chats as we walked to the location, then followed the baby’s lead.
We shared stories, admired the view. I guided them a little bit to get them started, but left lots of space for them to be together as a family, letting their personalities and natural selves come through.
